Auto Response Message
Today's appointment put a RUSH on things, so for the rest of this week I have to focus on getting things tied off at work and make sure I have the essentials all worked out for Ron's arrival. I have so many other things I want to say/share before he makes his appearance, so I won't be gone for long. Of course I'll be behind on reading, but I promise to catch up!
Short gist of it: my last day at work will be Friday. Holy crap. I plan on working from home (where I'll be back on modified bed rest) as long as I can, but that's really only about 3 weeks. We will have another u/s next week to check on his growth/stats. Then at 36 weeks, my doc plans on doing an amnio to check if little Ron is mature-and if so, he's comin' out then. He feels there is too big a risk at this point of hemorrhaging and with possible clotting/bleeding issues (family history as well as my own medical stuff) he isn't taking any risks. If he's not mature at 36 weeks, I will be given steroids and checked the following week.
So wow. Feeling a lot of different emotions right now. Im nervous about him coming early-but I need to trust my doctor-he's kept me on the straight and narrow up to this point. We're just so thankful for close monitoring and the knowledge of how to prepare to bring this blessing into our lives.
Be back soon...

Wow! That is crazy, and all happening so fast. I am so glad your doctor is being so cautious, though, and I just know everything will work out fine.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are in my prayers!
*hugs*
Easy for me to say, but I can't believe it's close to time for Ron to make his appearance. I'm sure you're feeling a million different things right now. Hang in there. Stay as relaxed as possible. Can't wait to meet his little Hogwarts self!
ReplyDeleteWishing you the very best, JJ!
ReplyDelete(Reminds me of when I preg with Michael--I went to what I thought was a normal appointment--to be told I was done--almost 3 weeks worth of bedrest and he came!)
Glad your doctor is taking good care of you, JJ!
(Oh, I can't wait to meet him!!!)
Yikes!! Don't worry too much about work and getting things ready. I was so stressed about it, then Sweetness came before my last day and ya know what, work functioned just fine.
ReplyDeleteGlad you've got a plan with the doc and he's being proactive. Crazy that little Ron will be here before you know. I'm keeping the both of you in my thoughts
Thinking nothing but good thoughts for you and Ron! I can't believe it's "that time" already! Sending you guys lots of love and ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteEee!! OMG JJ. Ron's impending arrival just made ME get a little jittery too! I keep thinking I have 8 whole weeks left, but truthfully I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your dr is taking the extra precaution. Keep us posted. Thinking of you all! *hugs*
It's crazy how quickly it all starts to happen, huh??
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are in wonderful hands and that your Ron will arrive safely! Yay!!! ~Hugs~
Good luck getting everything in order this week. Bed rest is not easy, but you do what you have to do and, well, you already know all of that!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Cant wait for updates.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you all in my thoughts.
Big hugs!
Better safe than sorry. It sounds like your doctor is taking good care of you. I look forward to Ron's arrival. Take care of yourself in the meantime!
ReplyDeleteThe very best of luck to you JJ as you finish the last leg of this pregnancy! Ron will be here before you know it, and he will undoubtedly bring you so much joy. Can't wait to hear the good news and see some pictures!!!

Wow and congrats! I bet you are so excited to meet him and so nervous at the same time. Sounds like your doc is taking all the right precautions so at least you can go into it knowing that you are in good hands.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to hearing more when you can and good luck with everything.
wow, so close, JJ!
ReplyDeleteI remember telling you about a friend with a similar pregnancy who ended up with her miracle baby. sounds like yours is on his way!
Wow. That seems so quick. So glad though that your doctor stays on top of things and is taking good care of you. Hope the next few weeks go well and that Ron arrives soon nice and safe.
ReplyDeleteWishing you & Ron the best of health, and I hope Ron comes out when he's ready!
ReplyDeleteI bet it's hard to believe it's all about to finally happen! I hope it all goes smoothly and can't wait to "meet" Ron!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I know how crazy things can be when there is so much to do and so little time to do it.
ReplyDeleteBut, I'm excited your Ron and my TK will be so close in age! Don't know when I'll be able to check back with you again, so Good Luck with everything, sweetie!
YIKES, it sounds like your Dr. is good so I am excited for Ron's safe arrival. Try to enjoy your bedrest (is that possible?)
ReplyDeleteSending good wishes and prayers for peace, good health, and joy to all three of you.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Glad you're in good hands.
ReplyDeleteWow! Your Dr sounds great so hang in there and you'll be meeting little Ron in no time!!! Good luck JJ! Thinking of you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHoly moley! It's amazing how fast it all seems now!
ReplyDeletewishing you all the best -- incidentally, a friend of mine delivered at 26 weeks, 4 days. her baby will be one year old tomorrow, and is happy and HEALTHY. ron has a will of steel, and he will be fine. you will be fine.
ReplyDeleteYou are so close! I'll be thinking of you and Ron!
ReplyDeleteWow! Good luck getting everything wrapped up! It sounds like you are in good hands w/the doc and 36 weeks is very close to full term. You guys will be in my thoughts for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited and nervous for you at the same time. But I'm equally glad you have a good doctor looking out for both you AND baby Ron. You'll be in my prayers and you'll be missed while you're gone, but we'll know it's for the best.
ReplyDelete((hugs))
I'm so excited for you JJ, can't wait to read your last pre-Ron thoughts and here all the exciting news of Ron's arrival.
ReplyDeleteWow. So much happening so quickly. I'm sorry that it's hectic and overwhelming right now. Wishing you good appointments, not too much crazy-makinig bed rest, and lots of good health for all of you!
ReplyDeleteWow is right. I was just looking back through his Glamour Shots and I can't believe he'll be here so soon!!
ReplyDeleteWith both of my children, I went on bedrest at the end. With Megan, it was a routine appointment that went awry. With Liam, I had that crazy blood pressure at work and when I went to the OB to get checked that afternoon, that was it. Bedrest until he was delivered 4 weeks later. Yikes!
Luckily while you are on modified bedrest / bedrest, you'll have plenty of time to blog. Hopefully.
Not that you don't have enough to worry about, but... can we get an updated belly picture before you are banished to the bed/couch? :-)
Holy, how is that possible? Didn't you just get knocked up?! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I can't believe that Ron will be here in 21 days and counting!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you've got a good doctor looking out for you. I can't wait to read more posts once you've got the work thing behind you on Friday!
Sending you big hugs!! xoxoxo
Just keep hanging in there!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, sweets. I'm thinking of you all.

ReplyDeleteI swear it was just yesterday you had gotten your BFP, and now little Ronnie is almost ready to bid us all Hello...Geez...

sounds a lot like the end of my pregnancy. it's scary but with all the monitoring and precautions it will be fine. bed rest totally blows, i truly don't know how i did it for so long. the uncertainty of everything else makes it all the more trying but you'll be fine. there is always facebook :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything. I think you are doing the right things, putting your priorities first. Keep Ron cookin' as long as the doc will let you!
ReplyDeleteWow, we're there already? Time seems to have flown by. Wishing you all the best.
ReplyDeleteNo ways! 36 weeks already??? Ron is coming so soon??? CRAZY!!! BUT EXCITING!!!

Incredible. I'm so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe you're so close. Wishing you lots of luck!!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best, sweetie! Can't wait to "meet" Ron! (But we can wait a little longer, eh?) :)
ReplyDeleteoh my gooooodness! I feel like I should be boiling water or something.
ReplyDeleteVery glad that there is a good, safe, plan in the works. Will be thinking of you lots and lots.
xo
I know how scary and exciting all that can be. I went on bed rest at 28 weeks with my son for preeclempsia who was taken by induction at 34.5 weeks! My little 5-pounder is now a very active 7 year old. Also, remember that work is work, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you and baby Ron so make sure you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm thinking of you, Mook and Ron! I know this pregnancy has been a little rough. I have faith that your doctors are doing the right thing! I have two neighbors that had babies born at 35 and 36 weeks this past year. The first one was born at 36 weeks via emergency c-section and no steroids to help him along. He just celebrated his 1st birthday on Sunday and the other is a very healthy 4 month old. Ron will do just as well as those 2 boys, I'm sure of it!
ReplyDeletehang in there! You are so close!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting so close!
ReplyDeleteYou know, if the early delivery thing is freaking you out, would you feel better holding out longer if you were in the hospital?
Wishing you lots of boring days at home before the exciting main event and the loveliest craziest time to follow.
Take it one day at a time. Get everything in order at work and home...because once he's here, you won't have any extra time for a long time!
ReplyDeleteJJ - everything is happening so fast! I just come in to check up and you're getting ready to deliver. I'm pulling for you and for Ron and am sure everything will work out for the best. Please keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and praying for you and Ron. ((LOTS OF HUGS))
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe Ron will be here soon. I'm getting excited!! I know you'll get everything together before he gets here.
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying for you guys - grow, Ron, grow!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so excited. Ron is almost here!! CRAZY!! There is going to be a big cyber party when he arrives!!
ReplyDeleteYou must feel like you are suddenly in overdrive! Wow.
ReplyDeleteGrow, Ron, Grow! I can't believe you're almost here.
Thinking of all of you...
OMG. You are almost DUE?! Where did the time go? Of course, you are probably ready for the countdown. Wishing you all the best: healthy baby, healthy mom. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteomg JJ Ron is coming soon! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG YAY!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteUm...PLEASE don't fear him coming too early- 36 weeks is amazing. It is a feat that you should be rewarded for achieving. Remember my Swim came at 35 and came out good as new so please don't be scared. Ron is perfect and won't dare make an appearance until he's good and ready :)
I am rolling with excitement for youuuuuu!!
I can't believe time's gone so fast! Wishing you luck! Keep us updated and know that we are all thinking about you.
ReplyDeletewow - fast progress!
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well with Ron!
Wow, things are really moving along!! How exciting!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness...it's so soon! Wow, I know you are so excited!
ReplyDeleteWishing you an easy time on bedrest. Can't wait to "meet" little Ron!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you my friend!! Take it easy okay? I cant wait to meet your little boy.
ReplyDeleteWow! It seems like only yesterday you were announcing that you were pregnant!!!! Wow.
ReplyDeleteTell your OB that we are all very greatful that they are taking very good care of you. I'll bet your OB doesn't know that there are AT LEAT 77 people (based on your comment stats for today) that will come beat the tar out of anyone that harms you!
Just kidding...only 45 of us are really likely to actually show up. :)
I wish you a safe and uneventful time getting little Ron from his current nest into your (and Mook's) arms.
I can't believe he's almost here. The next few weeks are going to go by so quickly!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Ron will be here in just a couple of weeks! I'm keeping you in my thoughts :-)
