Not to be mistaken with whine, but I forewarn you--there may be bit of that this month. But in return for you putting up with the occasional whine, I am going to offer you a virtual glass of wine each day this month. Fair trade?
Ever signed up for a Beer of the Month, Cheese of the Month, Wine of the Month club, etc? Well, in honor of NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month), here's my sales pitch: you get a virtual glass of wine each DAY this month when you come by to visit--I'll pick a wine, tell you all the details, and we'll raise a toast at the end of each post. You may pick up some new favorites, hopefully you will share some of your favorites, and we'll all toast our super-special community. AND, at the end of the month, I'm going do a drawing for a bottle of real wine. You can comment on one post or all thirty--no biggie--just get your name in the hat at some point! Mouth watering yet? Mine is!
I have to say I had a great time doing this last year. I was proud of myself--I went through the entire alphabet , and had a great time re-reading all the posts recently--its a great reminder to try and make time to post even when you have a lot going on, because this is such a great way to journal life-happenings.
So to get things started, I am going to choose my first glass of wine to share with you all: it's from a vineyard not too far from me--and it's actually the wine we had for our wedding toast. Please enjoy a glass of Ison Sweet Blush:
Less fruity, Light bodied blush wine |
No calories, no after-wine-headache, just a good ole-fashioned glass of virtual wine! Good, huh?
I'm looking forward to this month, the writing, the wine, and having this great group of gals get me through the whine.

Nice! I signed up for NaBloPoMo AND NaNoWriMo, so... I'll be needing that wine. ;-)
ReplyDeleteDrinking already. Thanks. So much better for a pregnant woman to have a virtual glass than a real one, but not as much fun. ;) I'll be drunk by December at this rate.
ReplyDeleteOh you definitely have my interest! I love wine and we have some really great ones in this area. That wine sounds delicious!
