fantastic dog that was a perfect match for our family....and he really set the bar high for any future dogs.We had our first family dog when I was just a baby--unfortunately, I have very few memories of her, but I know from stories my parents tell that we were quite the pair.

So when Mook and I adopted Chocolate J when she was only 6 weeks old, we knew that we had the perfect match for our new family....
Her head is now the size of this bowl...love looking at this to remind me how tiny she was!
Celebrating her 2nd birthday!
Oh, this was torture for all of us-she had to have ear surgery and of course had to wear the cone--this is the third cone--and you can see, she had already sunk her teeth into this one as well
Still thinking she is 8lbs (add a zero onto that)...but this isn't long after our failed IVF cycle--she just knew I needed some comforting. She got me through some tough days...
My pretty Chocolate J, you will always be my first baby--you may drive me batty most days, but your unconditional love is something I'm very thankful for.
