Mmmm Monday!

I take these beauties for granted--grapes are soooo yummy. These are what I am thankful for today--they have kept me going through my 3pm slouch in the afternoons--when I don't want to have more caffeine, but when I need something to get me through to dinner!

I have been doing Wei.ght Watch.ers for 3 weeks, and these are a life saver-only 1 point for a full cup. I know they have kept me from grabbing a handful of candies with M's printed on them :0) Better yet, I am happy to report I have lost 11 pounds so far! Tomorrow is weigh in, and I hope that I won't be disappointed since the aunt is in town--I tend to grab things with extra calories this time of month...

Since it's a "Mmmm Monday" I thought I'd share some "yummy" websites/links I found over the weekend.

First, for you Star-buck-aroo fans, see what the Oracle has to say about you based on the type of drink you like. Go here. It's not meant to be very flattering--the oracle told me I was: Fat. Nice! A nice giggle for a Monday.

Second, how cool are these!? I might have to invest in those for the winter...I love walking around barefoot, and now I can at least think that I am!

Lastly, do you eat at your desk? Need to clean up after yourself? Then you need this! So cute! It wouldn't make me feel so bad about making a mess!

I called my Rhino* this morning...waiting to hear back. I am nervous that he is going to recommend a more invasive solution for the cramps. He told me back in January that since I have a history of some painful cycles, he might suggest finding out if I have endo. I just don't know if I'm ready to take that big of a leap. Can't he just prescribe 2 glasses of wine and be done with it?

  2. I love grapes too.... especially frozen! Makes you feel like you're eating a popcicle like treat.

    Congrats on the 11 lbs!

I know the idea of a laparoscopy is probably really daunting, but if there were endo there, and it were contributing to your IF problems, it might be worth it to get it removed. Or at least to KNOW it's not a problem. You know? But who wants to think of actual surgery w/anasthesia & everything? Bleh.

  3. wheni did WW i too would freez them..it got me through the day and they are sweet! Grats 11 lbs is excellent. Good luck with the rhino's suggestions. I have had painful periods and they did lap to "comfirm" my endo. but i actually didn't have endo - they were confused by my painful periods.(assumed it was endo- but i was told just to take med's - so you can take that for what it's worth.)

  4. I did the Starbucks oracle thing, and I am "lame" - the description was surprisingly accurate! Thanks for all the fun links.

  5. Hey JJ, congrats on the 11 pounds! That is awesome! I love WW. As for the links, LOVE the piggy!

Also, about the lap, I know the thought sounds super scary, but it might be worth a shot! It could very well be a contributing factor in your IF situation. Just a thought.... Plus, it would help with the pain you get during AF.

I had a friend who had the same issues as you... her hubby also had MF issues. They got pregnant the first cycle after her lap. She did indeed have a bad case of endo which they were able to remove.

I wouldn't wish this for you, but endo can prevent implantation. Its worth checking into...

  6. Congrats on the weight loss...I know its hard (beleive me, I've lost about 15 this year...like pulling teeth). Anyhow, the Starbucks Oracle was hilarious...I'm posting my results on my page. Too funny! THANK YOU for that.

  7. The Oracle totally pegged me: "You don't go to Starbucks much; when you do you just tag along with other people since you have nothing better to do. You would like to order a Tazo Chai Crème but don't know how to pronounce it. Most people who drink grande hot chocolate are strippers.

    Also drinks: Wine coolers
Can also be found at: The mall"

If we had a mall, I would so be there. Even if I am too fat to wear any of the clothes. I wish I were a stripper. If I ever get thin again - you will have to pay me to put clothes on! But actually, I just don't like coffee and I love chocolate - so what else would I order?

Congrats on the weight lose!!! You are going GREAT!

  8. Wow! Congrats on the 11 pounds! I try to do WW, but it's hard some weeks. I guess that means I'm not fully committed, eh?

    You're doing awesome!

And I love the Starbucks Oracle, although it did say I was a freak....

  10. Holy, 11 pounds - you rock! When i did weight watchers and the point counting thing way back, it totally worked for me (30lbs). I dont' know why I don't get back on it.

Re grapes, mmmmm, those look very good today. I too am having all sorts of inklings for candies with letters on them.

As for the laparoscopy, I honestly found it not too bad - might be worth a shot or to at least know what's going on? I can email you details if you need.

  12. Wow! Major congratulations on the 11 pound loss. That is a major achievement!!!

And sorry I missed the picture of your fur baby over the weekend. A-freakin'-dorable. Her little expression is so cute. You are one lucky momma.

Hope the AF side effects are gone by now. :(

  13. Lol about the "RHINO" =).

I am delurking...from Annies blog ("Empty Nest").

regarding your pain and possible visit to the ER, gah, I have SO been there! Wouldn't have done you any good though, they are mofos that do NOT understand women and infertility and the pain we suffer through!

    anywho...loving the posts everyday! =)

  14. I am with In Search of M/S. If you can find / fix something that would help, wouldn't it be worth it?

Congrats on the WW progress! That is not small feat.

Thanks for your support on my blog too.

  15. Congrats on losing 11 pounds! I'm definitely jealous. It seems like everyone around me is losing weight and I'm blowing up. I really need to get off of my lazy ass already. Maybe tomorrow... :P

  16. Congrats on the 11lbs. Not sure if I've mentioned it but WW is also the plan that I'm following.

Nice to have you as a WW buddy!

  17. Those grapes look delicious! And congrats on the weight loss!!!

I did the Starbucks thing and it said I was a pothead (Chai latte). :)

The whole lap procedure isn't too bad. I actually felt relieved knowing that what they found could possibly be a contributing factor in our lack of success.

  18. Good job with the weight loss. I know I've got to start watching out for the pounds. I've done a lot of "comfort eating" this fall.

Sorry about the pain and AF. That sucks! I hope you can find some answers.

  19. Mmm, grapes! And I have a WW yoghurt, it's surprisingly nice.

RYC: I have never seen such a negative negative ever. So definitely not up the duff :( Still no sign of AF

  20. The Oracle told me I was Clueless and compared me to a stripper. Great!!

  21. Hi! Just found your blog, and I thought I'd offer something that helped me and hubby in our infertility battle. I don't know if you've ever heard of Fertility Blend vitamins for men. My husband's tests came out "inconclusive" on whether or not he had issues with MF, and my specialist recommended them. He said they are the only vitamins out there that they've done trials on that seem to help with sperm motility. My husband took them for several months, and if nothing else, they made him feel great. =)Tons of vitamin C in there, which I think is helpful for motility. We finally got pregnant with Seth. I'm sure we'll use them again if we need to later on. Just thought I'd pass that along in case it might help.

  22. 11lbs is fantastic! Well done you! I lost 9lbs over several weeks and have just dropped out. You've inspired me to return. As soon as i'm feeling better i'll dust off my weigh-in book. WW rocks!

The Oracle told me i was an Asshat!!!!

It said I also drink: Any drink with a foreign name and
Can also be found at: The other, locally owned coffee shop you claim to like better.

Shamefully the last part is actually true...I am SO outed! xx

  23. Wow! 11 pounds! Congrats.

The Oracle said of my Grande, non-fat, sugar-free vanilla latte with 2 splendas: high maintenance. I swear I'm not! haha
