Not having a feminine product with you when you suddenly know what cycle day it is: disastrous

  1. Ugggh! She always shows up at the most inopportune times! I hope you are able to get back to that peaceful feeling very soon. :)

  2. Yuck. I had to go get one from the First Aid office at Universal CityWalk once. They have them in a drawer labeled "non-male items."

  4. This made me laugh. Knowing which cycle day it is, forgetting to throw the tampon in the purse just in case and running out to tutor for 3 hours? That also sort of sucks :-)

  5. Oh, crap!

In spite of your misery, I have to admit you have me laughing.

BTW, how do you put out a burning sanitary napkin?

  6. Oh, JJ... I feel you, girlfriend. I'm currently on the tail-end of my first post-diagnosis AF. I actually kept FertilityFriend updated just so SOMEONE would know what cycle day it was and I wouldn't end up without a PADdle.

  9. You mean you don't keep an endless supply of tampons, panty liners, super long maxi-pads w/ wings (as well as OPKs, HPTs, and PIO) w/ you at all times? You know...just in case?

  10. Men have it SO easy! Women, not so much.

  12. I hste those surprises.

I always keep a tampon or two in the cars, or so I had thought. My wonderful husband had removed the 'pons from his car because, well, he has no use for them. I got caught off guard one day, and they were gone. He couldn't understand why I was upset.

  18. Well done for having gained some distance from the obsessive cycle watching.

The only times i've been caught out (ever) have been since being in treatment. I too keep tampons in my car and handbag but, wouldn't you know it, on my surprised days I didn't have any to hand!

Why can't men go through this.

  20. Darn it AF!, you too?? that situation is the bane of my PCOS existence.

  21. On the bright side of this, I have amassed quite a collection of 'emergency pants' I've had to run out of work and purchase when things got REALLY unpleasant. Any excuse to buy new clothes -- hey, I'll take it.

  22. Oh crap! Your smileys did give me a giggle though :D

  23. Oh dear :-(

Though maybe worth it, just to not be counting the cycle days?

  24. I'm with Mel - even when AF is in full swing, I often forget to pack appropriately before I leave the house. Then I am stuck walking around Costco or wherever doing the world's longest Kegel to keep things under control.

  25. Ah.

Hope things didn't get too messy,

    J
