"In honor of anniv (tomorrow) of the IVF cycle that gave us O-man, I read I'll Love You Forever 2 him tonight. Mascara officially ruined."I take anniversaries very seriously--they really mean something! I did, however, promise Mook that the day we got married, he was no longer required to recall the anniversaries of: our first kiss, first date, first "I Love You"...even though I remember them and silently expect him to--kidding, dear!
So I have been waiting for you, June. Because last year I was hoping that this June, I would think back fondly of you. I do.
In honor of this anniversary, my Perfect Moment Monday brings together a time to remember, and a time to be thankful.
PS: Would you take a moment and vote in my poll up in right-hand-corner? Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI love the book, I'll Love You Forever. Even though I've read it a thousand times, it can still make me cry.
I teared up just a bit. :) Isn't it so great that you can look back and see all that has happened? Squeeze the O-Man for us.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful "Perfect Moment Monday". And a beautiful anniversary to celebrate.

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary month for ya'll & the O man!
That book should be billed as "Baby's First TearJerker" -- at least for the mom.
ReplyDeleteHappy first anniversary of O's existence.
I LOVE that picture! Its says so much.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS picture and sentiment. This is a special time of year for us as well, as our two-year cycle anniversary is tommorrow.

Beautiful! Wow, will I look back on Jan 2010 like this, I pray so! I'm so happy for you and O-man is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI read that book to my son (who is 2 weeks older than O-Man) when I put him to bed on Mother's Day. I cried my eyes out, beginning on pg 1 and ending several minutes after he fell asleep in my arms. We are so blessed.
ReplyDeleteI love that pic with the O-man in the back. Indeed a perfect moment. I'm so happy for you. I read aloud The Giving Tree to my niece and nephew once and by the end was blubbering. They asked me what was wrong and gave me hugs. I told them that it was because it was one of my favorite books and that Aunt Traci is just an old softie.
ReplyDeleteMr. Peeveme is the one who remembers all those little anniversaries. That picture is perfect. What a wonderful thing to acknowledge. One year ago I bet you could never imagine where you are today.
ReplyDeleteThat is just the sweetest! What a beautiful anniversary to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteWay to make cold hearted Aunt Becky cry. Perfect moment, indeed.
ReplyDeleteWhat, what an anniversary! I just had a bunch of mine too... 5 Year of Marriage. Then IVF Retrieval, Transfer, and Positive Pregnancy Test (day after Mother's Day), from the pregnancy that brought me my daughter. So special. What a great Monday. Thanks for sharing.
