I actually have a lot of words to say, but just not today.
Just very thankful I went to get checked and am hopeful
my doctor got it all.
Still waiting on blood work for further analysis.
Ironically, May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
If you even suspect a mole/freckle looks funky-please, go get it checked.
More Wordless Wednesday participants.
I've been thinking of you all day! Let me know if you need to talk...
ReplyDeleteJJ - I'm so glad you got checked! I've had stage 2 on a couple of moles and am absolutely fine! Hang in there and thank you for using your "power" to teach people to get tested (and hopefully stay out of the sun!) Big hugs to you! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am sending you the biggest internet hug Cailin and I can send from such a far distance and in such a tiny box. ******HHHHUUUUUUUGGGGGGG****** Hope everything is OK. Gonna do a mole check today. Thanks for the advice.

ReplyDeleteHugs JJ... I hope you're doing ok. Hang in there! I hope the Dr. got everything.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, JJ. Sending love.
ReplyDeleteI hope they got it all!
ReplyDeleteMy Mother-in-Law just was declared cancer free after 3 years of checkups for skin cancer.
Good luck!!
Hey JJ - didn't know but hope that all is okay!
ReplyDelete((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThinking of you...
Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and praying that they got it all!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about you! I've had several moles that were deemed precancerous (not sure what level) they removed them and so far everything is good, that was about 4 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI have also been thinking about you. Hang in there and enjoy the pain meds
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. Wishing the best!
ReplyDeleteDamn. Not the news I was hoping to hear. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteSending you many hugs and many prayers that it's all gone.
ReplyDelete*HUGS*
Oh JJ! I'm sending you my love and some virtual hugs
ReplyDeleteHi JJ...btw your cheerleader outfit is in the mail... won't that make your DH smile! :o)
ReplyDeleteMan, I'm thankful you got checked out too. My DH was diagnosed with malignant basel cell carcenoma last year. Luckily it sounds much worse than it actually is. But, it was still a shock to hear someone tell you that you have cancer. We both get checked by a dermatologist every year now.
I hope your doctor was as successful as Marvy's at getting to everything and just keeping an eye on things.
I'm so glad you got checked. I don't really have moles, but I still want to go get a full body check (and I need to just make the appointment already). My mom had melanoma on her shin when I was about 2 years old. We were raised to be avid sunscreen users because of it. She had it removed and after a massive skin graft, healed just fine (other than a huge gouge out of her leg and scarring). She's had other basal cell carcinomas since and had them all removed, but so far so good. It is important to stay on top of it. I hope you heal well and they were able to get it all. Take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I am thinking of you and sending lots of hugs from Maryland. XOXO
ReplyDeleteSo hoping they got it all and there will be no further problems. This is so true. My cousin was like 32 when she had mellanoma removed from her leg.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you did!
ReplyDeleteI usually get my skin checked out once a year since my mother got diagnosed with a melanoma three years ago. I'm due a check up, thanks for the reminder :)
xxxx
I hope it all tests out OK. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. I hope they got it all too!
ReplyDeleteI am going to make an appt with a dermatologist today. Been meaning to, but keep forgetting. Now I will.
OMG, what is going on? I need to read your previous pot. Are you okay? HUGS!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you.((hugs))
ReplyDeleteHope you're okay...thinking about you!
ReplyDeleteI'll be saying lots of prayers for you!
ReplyDeleteI actually scheduled a dermo appt on Tuesday. I'm way overdue for a check up and I always have moles removed since mine are dysplastic.
Sending lots of thoughts of peace and strength your way . . .
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!!! Sending you lots of positive thoughts, I want to hear back that this is NOTHING.... *big hugs* How long til you hear back??? It makes me glad I got mine checked out too, even though it felt like a waste of time.
ReplyDeleteAlso, are you back at work? I totally forget and I'm too lazy to go back through your posts. I'm in NC until May 31st and think it would be fun to get our little ones to meet, if you would like that.
Thinking of you and keeping positive that the docs got it all!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy mother had melanoma at age 34. I have started to get screened annually. Wishing you the very best!
ReplyDeleteOh my JJ! How very scary. I made an appt for a mole check in 2 weeks with a dermo. I am glad they got it all. How very scary!
ReplyDeleteAnd happy belated birthday!
Hello.
ReplyDeletePlease read how IVF medications led to my breast cancer and how a breast cancer study using genetic testing to check estrogen metabolism is saving my life. Please share my story with all women who have used or are considering IVF, HRT and anyone with estrogen positive breast cancer.
Thanks
